COVID-19 POLICY
Vaccination policy as of September 22, 2021
Dear Member,
The Board of Directors met last week to review COVID-19, its impact on the health and safery of our members and staff and ensure we approach all aspects of our club operations with a duty of care to ensure we provide an environment free of known hazards for all members, guests, and staff. The Board recognizes and understands our role in safeguarding the health of our members and guests; our employees and their families; and the community at large from infectious diseases, such as COVID-19.
The Board resolved that Lookout Point Country Club will become a COVID-19 safe facility, and as such, has created the following COVID-19 Vaccination Policy.
As previously communicated, we will continue to follow the Federal, Provincial and Regional guidelines for all age groups that qualify for the COVID-19 vaccination. At the time of writing, children under twelve (12) years of age who cannot be vaccinated will be required to be accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult. The policy will be reviewed and updated accordingly to reflect ongoing changes and developments of government guidelines, and health and safety protocols.
LOPCC’s Full Vaccination Policy will come into effect on September 22, 2021. This will allow time for management to collect vaccine certificates from Members and record the data in the POS system that will indicate to staff the permitted access level of members as prescribed in the vaccination policy. This timeline will also allow unvaccinated members or staff the opportunity to receive their vaccines if they wish to do so.
