From the Green Committee

Starting on Monday, August 26th we will be aerating our fairways. In order to limit the impact on golfers, we will only closing the hole that is being worked on. Greens will also be vented. The anticipated timeline for completion is three days dependent on the weather and other external factors. We will not be closing any other portion of the golf course other than the hole that is being aerated at that particular moment. If during your round you arrive at the start of a hole with a sign notifying you that “aeration is in progress” we ask that you to pick up and move to the next hole.

Holes Not Played/Not Played Under The Rules of Golf

Q.

How do I post a score if a hole is not played or not played under the Rules of Golf?"

A.

For handicap purposes, the player must record a score of par plus any handicap strokes normally received for the holes not played or holes not played in accordance with the Rules of Golf.

Staff Golf Outing

Earlier this week, you received an email from our General Manager, Dan Greenwood regarding the Staff Golf Tournament scheduled for Monday, August 26th.

The staff at LPCC have been working hard again this year ensuring that your experience at the club is a positive one. In support of the staff and in an effort to recognize the efforts of over 70 employees...the MGMT team has organized a staff golf tournament. They will be playing a 9 hole shotgun at 5:30pm and then celebrating off site, on Monday August 26th. All departments will be involved and therefore there will be no services available after 4pm as per the standard operating hours for Mondays throughout the season. Reservations for golf can still be made until 3:30pm and then any walk on traffic will be able to access the back nine after 5:30pm (walking only)
