Thoughts from the Pro’s
We hope everyone had a great Easter weekend! It’s been fun watching all the reruns of past Masters tournaments on tv over the past few days, we hope you had a chance to tune in and relive some of those memories.
We are far from experts on anything to do with what is going on in the world today, but we want to encourage everyone to continue to follow the directions from our Health professionals and Government officials. It appears that the next few weeks are going to be critical in understanding how successful we have been in doing our part to flatten the curve and prevent the spread of this Covid-19.
We are very busy at the moment planning. We want to be fully prepared so that when it is safe to do so and our government allows we will be able to implement ALL of the best practices necessary to keep our staff and our members safe whenever the golf course is reopened. Earlier today, Prime Minister Trudeau indicated that it may still be weeks away before restrictions begin to ease. While that message may be frustrating to many, we are hopeful that the measures being taken so far are starting to work so we can get back to doing what we do best - managing the best private golf experience in Niagara. Later this week you can expect to receive an eblast from our General Manager Dan Greenwood, updating the membership on our current operations and short term planning. Our Games Committee will be “virtually” meeting in early May to discuss the impact of the current and expected restrictions on our calendar of planned member events. You will be able to expect more information on these plans in the near future.
As a NON-ESSENTIAL business we are currently NOT allowed to be open to members or the public. We are permitted however, to continue business through online and telecommunication platforms. Starting next week (Monday, April 20th) there will be a representative from the club available to reach by phone in the Golf Shop should you be interested in placing any types of order for local delivery or curbside pickup. We are also currently working on a BRAND NEW online shopping experience which we hope to have ready to unveil in early May. Our Online Store will allow you to shop from the comfort of home, viewing the latest fashion & equipment all with excellent member pricing. We are looking into options for pickup and local delivery as well. Stay tuned for more in upcoming newsletters.
Stay Home & Stay Safe
Sincerely,
Adam, Ben, Al & Dan
