2020 Junior & Senior Club Championships
Thanks to everyone for an amazing weekend of competition and congratulations to our Gross & Net Champions
A Short Story from the 18th Green…
On Saturday, during the first round of the Junior Club Championships, one of our groups of Junior’s had quite the experience on the 18th green. Sandra Jeffery managed to capture a photograph and sent in the following:
Thought I’d share this photo I took from our Patio yesterday of Mike Martel’s ball hanging on at the pin.
This was so exciting to watch as this group of Juniors approached the 18th green.
Mike (far left) did not see that his ball had landed on the green & was partially overhanging the top edge of the hole. A few minutes later, when the young boy on the right took his shot & his ball hit the far right side of the green, Mike’s ball dropped into the hole..for an Eagle. Just enough vibration?..to shift it down..or the grass grew??

World Handicap System Education
Now that golf is open across Canada, it is important that golfers understand how handicapping has changed with the release of the World Handicap System. To help golfers become more informed, we have created an online presentation that highlights the major changes to the Rules of Handicapping. By comparing the Rules of Handicapping to the previous system and providing explanations as to the reasons for the change, Canadian golfers will have a better understanding and be able to feel confident as they continue to post scores.
