Message from your Professional Staff at Lookout Point Country Club
Good Afternoon,

Guest can only be booked by calling the Golf Shop (not available to be booked online)

Music on Course
We have had a few questions regarding the use of music on the golf course. Our policy as a club is that music is permitted however it must ONLY be heard within the confines of your golf cart or immediate area. Music should not be able to be heard by a group on another hole or any other members on the golf course. Our Lookout Point Code of Conduct is guided by our core values of being friendly, ethical & respectful. It’s a culture that is inclusive, not exclusive. Improper use of music on the golf course would be a violation of our Code of Conduct policy. We will continue to monitor and react to any issues brought to our attention.
Sincerely,
Your Lookout Point Professional Team

DEUCES ON 6
You wouldn’t know it from the Handicap Ranking as our 2nd hardest hole but Hole #6 has given us a couple 2’s in the past month. On May 23rd Peter Doyle made his first 2 on 6 and on June 24th Lockie Williams repeated the feat with a 2 of his own while playing with Michael Balyk, Sheila Boyle & Bill Petrushko. Great shooting gentlemen.

PRODUCT OF THE WEEK
TRUSS Putter Wins on the PGA Tour
Three different putters in three weeks is a telltale sign that things aren’t going swimmingly on the greens. Luckily for Dustin Johnson, the third putter ended up being the charm at the Travelers Championship. The 21-time Tour winner found his stroke with a TaylorMade Truss TB1 putter after two weeks of struggling to get the ball to roll on his intended line.
“I felt like I was rolling it good, but I was having trouble getting it going on the line I was seeing,” Johnson said after shooting a third-round 61 that featured just 26 putts. “I did a lot of work this week on the greens with some different putters to try and fix that. I put the new Truss putter in. It’s been coming out where I’m looking I’ve hit a lot of really good putts this week.”
The TaylorMade Truss was developed for players who desire the stability and forgiveness of a mallet but prefer a more traditional look at address. In Stock in the Golf Shop, or check them out on our online store. https://lookoutpoint.onlinegolfshop.ca
